I took two of my all time favorite foods and put them together!
3 Tbsp Vegan Butter (I use Earth Balance)
1/2 Tbsp Garlic Powder
1/2 Tbsp Basil
A pinch of Parsley
Vegan Cheese (I used Coconut Herb with Black Pepper Chao Cheese by Field Roast)
Warm a skillet over medium heat. Add butter to a microwave safe dish and heat for 15 seconds. The butter should be soft, not melted. Add spices to the softened butter and mix.
Spread the butter mixture onto one side of each slice of bread, put it into the skillet, add cheese, and top with the other slice of bread. Cook on each side for about 2 minutes. Enjoy!
I served mine with some vegan tomato soup and had a dunking fest going on 😛
